MINISTRY BREAKS MONTH OF AUGUST

GRCC Family, what a rich and fruitful season the Lord has given us! Over these past months, many of us have grown together through the faithful study of God’s Word, the work of the Holy Spirit, and the sweet fellowship we share as the body of Christ.

As a reminder, our Wednesday Night Midweek Study, Tuesday and Friday Men’s Bible Studies, and Thursday Women’s Bible Study will be on summer break during the month of August. We look forward to resuming all of these ministries in September.

In the meantime, we invite you to join us for two special August events: GriefShare begins Friday, August 21, at 10:00 AM, and our 2026 Summer Men’s Breakfast will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 9:00 AM. We pray you enjoy a refreshing month, and we look forward to gathering together again in September as we continue growing in God’s grace and truth.

2026 SUMMER MEN’S BREAKFAST

GRCC Men, our 2026 Summer Men’s Breakfast date has been moved to Saturday, August 22, at 9:00 AM, as Pastor George shares a powerful message from Revelation 12:1–17 entitled: “And a Great Sign Appeared in Heaven.”

Come with expectant hearts as we enjoy breakfast, fellowship, and the study of God’s Word. Pastor George will lead us through this remarkable passage, revealing God’s sovereign power, His eternal purposes, and the victory of Christ in the midst of spiritual conflict. We look forward to seeing you there!

GRIEFSHARE

GriefShare will start with a new 13-week session on our new start date, Friday, August 21 at 10 AM, here at Gold River Calvary Chapel, 11285 Pyrites Way, Suite B, Gold River, CA 95670.

GriefShare is built around a 13-week video curriculum on a biblical, Christ-centered foundation, which meets weekly to help you face the challenges of grief and move from mourning to joy. GriefShare is a ministry to help you on your journey toward healing and recovery as you process your grief of the death of your loved ones.

These sessions will be offered as IN-PERSON only. Childcare WILL NOT be provided.

SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE

GRCC Family, join us Sundays at 10 AM for Pastor George’s new series on 1st Peter: “Born Again to A Living Hope,” – a letter of great encouragement to all of us who are in Christ while we live as exiles and strangers in this world.

But God has rescued us: “According to His great mercy, He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
