Pastor George Eowan & Women’s Ministry Director Anne Eowan
Pastor George Eowan is the Lead Pastor of Gold River Chapel. He and his wife Anne enjoy ministering together, worshiping with God’s people and proclaiming the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
George is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he received his PhD in public policy and public administration. After many years of working in the world of politics and government, George gave his life to the Lord and began serving God in a variety of ways including praying with those in need, and teaching the Bible.
He believes that the key passage that directs Gold River Chapel is found in Acts 2:42
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
As a result, George spends the bulk of his time in teaching the Bible and pastoring the people.
George and Anne are blessed with three sons and four grandchildren.
Anne leads the Women’s Ministry. She has a heart for women growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ and growing closer together as sisters in the Lord.
Pastor Wade Foster & Prayer Ministry Tina Foster
Wade Foster is an assistant Pastor at Gold River Calvary Chapel. Wade enjoys teaching God’s Word. However, his desire is to come alongside Christians and help them with their growth in Christ. Proverbs 3:5-6 is his go to Scripture.
Wade and Tina have served Lord Jesus for nearly 40 years. Their service has been with youth in Probation Camps. Also with families in depressed communities.
Tina, coordinates the Prayer Ministry of Gold River Calvary Chapel. She believes prayer is essential to every Christian’s live. Her go to Scripture is Psalm 31.
The most important thing in their lives is an intimate relationship with Lord Jesus. Serving Him is utmost their lives. They place a heavy emphasis on prayer and the study of God’s Word.
Gold River Calvary Chapel is a family of Believers that Wade and Tina have been blessed to be a part of.
Pastor Manny Gonzalez
Manny Gonzalez is one of the pastors at Gold River Calvary Chapel. He and his bride Debbie have been married since 1989 and have been actively involved in various ministries for well over 32 years. Manny, a native New Yorker met Debbie in Sacramento in 1986, moved to California and worked for and retired from the State of California in Law Enforcement. In addition, they raised and homeschooled their four children who are now adults.
Currently, Debbie and Manny are enjoying their “empty nest season” along with one of their favorite pastimes, going on ocean cruises.
Most importantly, Manny and Debbie are blessed to be a part of GRCC family and to glorify God and edify our Lord’s people.
Debbie Gonzales, Children’s Ministry
Debbie Gonzalez has been enjoying God’s grace for over 35 years. Debbie was living a empty and Godless life; disappointed that life wasn’t coming together like she expected after graduation from college. Shortly after this realization, God in His mercy reached out and meeting her in a way that only God could. He turned her life around and upside down. She met her husband, Manny, blessed them with 5 children. She has also served in ministry with children and women in various rolls over the years.
Pastor Don Beireis
Pastor Don Beireis and his wife Sheri love serving GOD and His people.
With years of leadership in private and public sector banking and finance organizations, Don stopped running from GOD’s call, surrendering to full-time ministry in 2022.
He is humbled and honored to serve the fellowship here at Gold River Calvary Chapel, teaching the Word and equipping others in their relationship with Christ.
He loves watching the Word come alive from within as we discover the power of walking in the Joy of the LORD, irrespective of what falls across our path.
Two of his favorite verses are:
Proverbs 11:25, “Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.”
1 Chronicles 16:11, “Seek the LORD and HIS strength; seek his presence continually!”
Don and Sheri have been blessed with 5 children and 9 beautiful grandchildren.
Dave Clemmons
Audio/Visual/Computer
Dave Clemmons works with the Audio/Visual ministry. He grew up in Alabama and was raised in the Southern Baptist church. He became a Christian at eleven. Dave retired from the State of California as a Systems Programmer and continues to teach classes for the Department of Technology.
Dave and his wife Sandie love serving the Lord. Sandie serves in the food ministry and children’s ministry while Dave runs the PC displaying songs and scripture during services.
Dave’s life verse is Philippians 1:21 – “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
Dave has a son, daughter, two grandsons while Sandie has a daughter, two grandsons and a granddaughter.
Bill and Dana Ward
Hospitality Ministry
Dana is the hospitality leader for Gold River Chapel, coordinating the greeters, ushers and even the snacks. Dana has also had the privilege of helping to design the Gold River Chapel web site. Dana is an avid photographer and some of the pictures that have been used on the front of the Bulletins are her original photographs.
God has blessed Bill and Dana with 42 years of Marriage (as of January 28, 2020), three wonderful children and 4 grandchildren. We thank God every day for his blessings, grace and mercy.
Bill’s foundational scripture has always been: John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son so that who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life”

Pat Boylan
Pat Boylan leads the worship team at Gold River. Pat has been leading worship either on staff, or as a fill in worship leader for the last 15 years in the greater Sacramento area.
Pat loves to build and develop teams that share their heart for Christ through song, and connect people in an engaging and deeper faith walk.
