Women’s Bible Fellowship
Dear Ladies: I would like to invite you to be part of the loving community of women in our church family.
The Women’s Ministry gives ladies an opportunity to get to know other sisters in Christ as we grow together in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
One way we grow together is through the Women’s Bible Fellowship as we study the Bible together and become equipped to be a godly influence in our homes, workplaces, and community.
We are strengthened through the Word of God to live out practically the joy of our salvation through challenging times and to lift up and encourage others through service, prayer and example.
We have bible studies, worship events, brunches and more throughout the year. Check back on the Women’s Ministry page of our website often to learn about our current study or upcoming events.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
In Him,
Anne Eowan
Women’s Ministry Director, Gold River Calvary Chapel
Ladies, please join your fellow sisters in Christ with guest speaker, Laura Cowan, for a special Christmas Brunch, Saturday December 7, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. here at Gold River Calvary Chapel.
To listen to Laura Cowan’s teaching, please click here.
This retreat is designed to give women a time aside with Jesus, to share a day of fellowship and worship and be refreshed and filled up with God’s word. We will hear timely messages that will help us to navigate all the messages we get through the media and others that happiness and fulfillment is found in the things of this world, or inside our own selves, instead of in God himself. We will be reminded of how much we are loved by God and how He so gloriously meets our every need, sometimes in surprising ways. And we will see that these words written by King David about our gracious God more than 3000 years ago are still true and speak just as powerfully to us today:
“You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing.”
Psalm 145:16
Gold River Calvary Chapel invites you to join your sisters as we celebrate the birth of Jesus together with beautiful worship music, a devotional message, good food and fellowship. Feel free to bring a friend but please sign up at church or online so we can plan. There is no charge for the event. Childcare will not be available.

Dear Sisters – Have you ever prayed for more wisdom to “walk the walk” and not just “talk the talk” in your Christian life? If so, you will want to join us for our new study in the Book of James entitled, “Faith ALIVE!”
In this study of James’ letter to the church, we will find the practical wisdom we need to know how to live out our precious faith in Christ while deepening our understanding of our loving, giving God.
So come join your sisters in fellowship as we grow together in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
The study starts Thursday, May 11, either at 9:30 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. at church, or 6:30 p.m. on Zoom and will continue every Thursday through the end of June. Sign up at church or online on the Women’s page on our website. Lessons are available each week online or at church.
I am looking forward to sharing this time in the Word and fellowship with you.
In Him,
Anne Eowan
Women’s Ministry Director
